Terms of Service
Last updated 26 August 2026
These are the terms for using Mappack — the getmappack.com website and the app you sign in to with Google. Using Mappack means agreeing to them. They are written plainly on purpose — if anything here is unclear, ask rather than guess: jordan@getmappack.com.
What Mappack is
A tool for managing several Google Business Profiles from one screen: publishing posts to many profiles at once, reading the performance figures Google publishes for each one, checking whether Google is showing a profile normally, and producing a monthly report you can send to a client under your own name.
Mappack is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or a product of Google. "Google", "Google Business Profile" and "Google Maps" are Google's trademarks.
It is still being built
Mappack is in development and not open to the public. Features may change or be removed, data may be reset, and there is no uptime commitment at this stage. Nothing here should be read as a promise that a particular feature will ship.
Your Google account, and your authority to use it
Mappack acts on the Business Profiles your Google account already manages. By connecting it you confirm you are entitled to act on those profiles — as the owner, or with the permission of whoever is.
You are responsible for what Mappack publishes on your instruction. A post sent to twenty profiles is twenty posts you have made. Check the text before you send it.
You can disconnect Mappack at any time from your Google permissions page.
What is expected of you
- Do not use Mappack to publish anything unlawful, deceptive, or in breach of Google's Business Profile content guidelines. Google enforces those against the profile, not against Mappack — a suspension lands on your client.
- Do not attempt to reach profiles or accounts you are not authorised to manage.
- Do not attempt to break, overload, or work around the limits of the service, or resell access to it without agreement.
What is yours
The posts you write, the reports you generate and your clients' business data are yours. Mappack claims no ownership of any of it. Reports carry your branding, not Mappack's, and you are free to send them to clients as your own work.
The Mappack software, name and design remain the property of its author.
Things outside Mappack's control
Mappack depends on Google's APIs. Google can change them, rate-limit them, or refuse a request, and it decides on its own whether a post is published and whether a profile stays visible. Where Google refuses something, Mappack reports what Google said; it cannot overrule it.
Mappack does not influence how a business ranks in Google Search or Google Maps and makes no promise about search position, traffic, calls, or any other business outcome.
No warranty
Mappack is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. It is not guaranteed to be uninterrupted, error-free, or to preserve any data.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Mappack and its author are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for lost profits, lost business, or lost data, arising from your use of the service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you have paid for Mappack in the twelve months before the claim — which, while the service is free, is nothing.
Nothing here limits liability for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
Ending it
You can stop using Mappack at any time by disconnecting it from your Google account. Access may be suspended or withdrawn if these terms are broken, or if the service is discontinued. If Mappack shuts down, you will be given reasonable notice and a chance to export anything you need.
Privacy
What data Mappack touches and what happens to it is set out in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them. Continuing to use Mappack after a change means accepting it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, United States, and the courts there have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
